My senior cat (she'll be 13 years old this summer) is picky. She only eats grain free food, she only likes poultry flavors (for the most part). She isn't a huge fan of pate, but as she is getting older her ability to chew is making her rethink her life choices. I was pleasantly surprised when she gobbled the food up in minutes. Okay, I admit, she could be in a food eating competition with the rate she eats her food, we tell her to slow down...but I don't think she's learned English. She now wakes us up at 5am to beckon us to the kitchen where we find her nuzzling the box of food on the floor begging us to feed her. I still have one eye open because it's 5am and I haven't had coffee yet. I would call this a huge win in our household. Anytime this picky feline begs for food we know it's a winner.
